Not Your Mother's Midlife Paintings

Five years ago Nancy and Marilyn took a class in oil painting from Marilyn's 13 year old daughter. It marked the beginning of how they learned to embrace the second half of their lives. They found themselves entranced with the process and how something new - any new passion - had the power of transforming a stale way of being into rejuvenation. Soon, they began to teach other women the art of painting in oils and its application to changing one's perspective of a situation. Their classes turned into weekend retreats, the retreats inspired their books, their books brought about a movement called Fearless Aging. Here are a few examples of their work and how it represents women in the middle of their lives.

Persons interested in purchasing one of the paintings may inquirer with the artist.
